Dynacorp Ltd v. Aramtel Ltd — This matter involved allegations of fraud, misrepresentation and breach of contract by both parties involving the deployment of a wireless local loop telecommunications network in Central and Northern Iraq after the US invasion of that country estimated to generate profits of over One Billion Dollars.
Intelecom Inc. v. TeleBright Corp et al — We represented the defendant in this matter which involved a dispute regarding certain telecommunications marketing and billing software where plaintiff asserted over twenty million dollars in damages. The plaintiff asserted that our client had breached certain provisions of a contract between the parties, infringed its copyrights in the software, and misappropriated certain trade secrets related to the software. A judgment against our client would have spelled the demise of the company. We successfully represented our client before a panel of three highly experienced software arbitrators in a two week trial. The panel prepared a nearly thirty page opinion completely exonerating our client and awarding our client over One Million Dollars in costs and fees.
Alloc, Inc. et al. v. Akzenta Paneele Profile + GMBH et al — This plaintiffs, manufacturers and distributors of glueless laminate flooring products, brought suit against certain competitors alleging infringement of three US patents. The US laminate flooring business is estimated at over One Billion Dollars per year; with the glueless market representing as much as Seventy Five percent of overall sales. We represented one of the defendants in the one week trial before the US International Trade Commission. We successfully argued that our clients products did not infringe the asserted patents.
