Rodney has acted in many major pastoral property transactions such as auctions, tenders and the private sale of land and other interests in rural industries. He has advised on Queensland Crown Land provisions including subdivision and conversion of tenure. He has also advised a number of clients on foreign investment issues and their rights to acquire leasehold and freehold land.
Rodney’s clients include the Australian Agricultural Company Limited, Consolidated Pastoral Company Pty Ltd, Australian Rural Exports Pty Ltd, Riverina (Australia) Pty Ltd and Cockatoo Coal Limited. He has held substantial interests in the beef industry for more than 40 years, providing him with a unique insight and genuine understanding of the beef cattle industry and agricultural sector.
As a well known commercial property expert, Rodney has advised on the acquisition, development, disposal and leasing of numerous commercial, retail and industrial properties. He is highly skilled at re-arranging property interests to suit investment profiles.
His own experience, as the holder of substantial interests in the beef industry and as an honours graduate from Marcus Oldham Agricultural College, provides a rarely seen insight into the regional Queensland and the agribusiness sector.
