Robert W. Boos joined Adams and Reese in 2010 following the firm's expansion into Florida. He is a Litigation Partner with more than 30 years of experience handling a broad and diverse range of business litigation matters.
Bob has significant experience in the trial and arbitration of complex commercial matters, construction litigation, real estate and property litigation, banking and securities litigation, insurance litigation, products litigation, health care litigation, contract litigation, employment litigation and probate litigation. Bob also has handled numerous class action cases, both in state and federal courts.
Bob has consistently been ranked among Best Lawyers® in various litigation areas, including Bankruptcy, Construction and Real Estate Litigation. Bob has been named among Florida's Legal Elite.
His significant contributions include:
- Defended employment claims of all types as well as numerous insurance, contract, environmental, corporate, energy, real estate, probate, aviation, securities, construction and class action matters.
- Lectured and written on numerous litigation topics.
He is admitted to practice law in both Florida, Illinois and the District of Columbia. Bob earned his J.D. from UCLA Law School in 1979, and received his B.A. in Psychology from Notre Dame in 1976.
In the community, Bob belongs to the UCLA and Notre Dame Alumni Club, Builders Association of Greater Tampa, Inc., and the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Bob coaches youth baseball, basketball and soccer teams, and serves on the boards of the Tampa Theatre, Tampa YMCA, and the Tampa Bay Little League.
