Robert M. Steele, shareholder based in the Nashville office, for many years has engaged in a broad federal and state environmental, energy, and resources law practice, with emphasis in the areas of Superfund, RCRA, UST, brownfield and other types of site remediation; environmental liability counseling and documentation in connection with business acquisitions, financial transactions, and real estate transfers; and environmental permitting, compliance, auditing and enforcement for many types of large and small facilities. Mr. Steele's experience includes leading Steering Committees of joint defense PRP groups at multi-party Superfund sites, and handling licensing and regulatory work for a $100 million water resources project and for a $500 million electric generating project.
