Medical Device Case — F.O. was severely burned during a medical procedure at his doctor's office. Texas law greatly limits the recovery a patient can obtain against a physician for physical and emotional injuries - with a cap of $250,000.00 for non-economic damages. Mr. Rush and the firm were able to prosecute the case against the corporation that manufactured the device, proving that the company failed to properly train the doctor on how to use the device, and obtained a multi-million dollar recovery for the patient.
18-Wheeler Case — In representing R.F., Mr. Rush and the firm were able to overcome a flawed Department of Public Safety Crash report that placed all of the fault for a collision on R.F. Through an exhaustive effort to reconstruct the wreck, using highly qualified PhD Engineering experts, Mr. Rush was able to recover a multi-million dollar recovery for R.F., who had been severely injured by distracted and fatigued truck driver.
Brain Damage to Infant — In representing L.R., and her parents, Mr. Rush and the firm obtained a multi-million dollar recovery for the family. L.R. was hospitalized, and a nurse negligently caused L.R. to lose her oxygen supply, and failed to timely call for emergency help. The result was severe brain injury to the child.
