Robert F. (“Bob”) Dow is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice. With more than 20 years experience practicing law in securities and transactional matters, Mr. Dow is also a Certified Public Accountant with experience as a financial analyst, corporate controller and "Big 4" auditor. Mr. Dow serves on the Board of Advisors of CorporateCounsel.net and is a frequent speaker on securities and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Dow focuses his practice on securities and transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, and venture capital financing. Mr. Dow also advises public and private companies on corporate governance issues and Securities and Exchange Commission compliance issues.
Mr. Dow also serves as the pro bono chair for the firm, coordinating the firm’s numerous pro bono programs, and is an active participant in the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Program.

Advised leading logistics company — Provided corporate finance and real estate advice, including a nonconsolidation opinion, in connection with the sale of majority equity interest in largest national temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics services company, and related financing.
Advised Campus Crest Communities regarding IPO — Provided corporate governance and SEC disclosure advice for a campus housing REIT, Campus Crest Communities Inc., in connection with a $354 million underwritten initial public offer.
