Robert is a Labor and Employment Law attorney who exclusively represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law with specific experience in construction, prevailing wage regulations, construction jurisdictional disputes, picketing, strikes, corporate campaigns, the NLRB, collective bargaining, union avoidance counseling and the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration Act. He also has represented various employers in employment discrimination litigation in federal and state courts and before the EEOC and state agencies.
Robert has represented both union and non-union multi-employer construction associations before the NLRB and federal court. He has acted as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining for employers in various industries and has been successful in achieving company goals even when strikes have occurred. Robert has defended employers in multiple plaintiff and class action discrimination lawsuits brought by the EEOC and federal court.
Robert was the Managing Regional Member of the firm's Buffalo office from 2006 to 2011 and was an adjunct professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law from 1996 to 2000.
