Richard T. Taps is a graduate of Denison University. Richard received his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1978.
Richard is certified in elder law by the National Elder Law Foundation and belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Author of The Ohio Medicaid Manual (revised in 2013), which explains how to qualify for Medicaid benefits in Ohio. The book was reformatted in 2008 as a manual for attorneys who practice in the area of Medicaid planning.
Co-author of Financial and Health Care Planning for the Elderly in Ohio (Anderson Publishing Company, 1999).
Author of “Probating Your Estate in Franklin County” (1995).
Author of The Medicaid Manual (Silver Press, 1993).
