Rick is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden's Lexington office, and has been with the firm since 2002. He serves as Chair of the Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits Practice and is also a member of the Class Action Practice. Rick's practice regularly includes counseling employers and litigating all types of employment law disputes. For his many legal accomplishments, Rick is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, recognized by Chambers USA and is honored as a Kentucky Super Lawyer. He was co-chair of the Planning Committee and author of a chapter in the University of Kentucky practice handbook on employment law. Since 1992, he has served as the planning co-chair and moderator of the University of Kentucky's Employment Law Institute. Rick is a member of the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. He gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Trustees and as the Finance Chair for the Lexington Theological Seminary. He formerly served on the Board for Land and Nature Trust of the Bluegrass. He is a member of the Rotary Club and serves on the Administrative Council at First United Methodist Church in Lexington. Married with two daughters, Rick enjoys traveling in his free time.
