Philippe Tardif is a business law partner in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He is the Toronto regional leader for the firm's Securities and Capital Markets Group.
Philippe's practice focuses on corporate finance, with an emphasis on public and private equity and debt financings, including cross-border financings; mergers and acquisitions involving public companies; and corporate governance matters, including board and special committee advisory roles.
Philippe is recognized for his expertise in his field and has been appointed as adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Philippe was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission from 1989 to 1991 where he served as counsel in the Corporate Finance Branch, the Enforcement Branch and the General Counsel's Office.
