Founding Member Philippe Lieberman handles complex commercial and real estate litigation matters. Philippe’s background in finance and international business gives him a strategic advantage against many of his adversaries as he is uniquely able to cut through the complex financial issues that underlie many of these disputes.
Philippe’s practice centers around matters relating to lender liability, financial fraud, business and partnership disputes, foreclosures, real estate disputes and shareholders’ derivative actions. He also litigates disputes that involve commercial transactions, fiduciary obligations, corporate governance and trade secrets. If it pertains to the operation and finance of a major commercial enterprise, Philippe handles it.
Philippe understands the toll that litigation can take on a business’ day-to-day operations, so Philippe works closely with his clients to consider the strategies that are best for the business in the short and long term. He makes sure that his clients fully understand the issues and stakes before selecting the appropriate strategic path.
Born in Europe and fluent in French, Philippe has a diverse clientele and frequently represents real estate developers, foreign and local investors, entrepreneurs, brokers, and businesses. He also has experience with multi-country and multi-jurisdictional disputes.In his spare time, Philippe is an avid European football (soccer) fan and cyclist.
