Since admission to practice, Mr. Economidis has tried dozens of civil, criminal and family cases to verdict and judgment in state and federal courts. In about 1980, he has limited his practice to family law cases and mediation and now limits his practice to the mediation and arbitration of complex divorce and family law matters. Mr. Economidis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is certificated by the Academy in Mediation. When Best Lawyers' First Edition was published, Mr. Economidis was the only Tucson, Arizona lawyer listed and he has been listed therein in all subsequent publications. He has also been listed in Best Lawyers in the subspecialty area of Family Law Mediation since inception of that category and has been listed therein in all subsequent publications as well. Mr. Economidis has been a frequent lecturer in family law subjects including community property law, custody and support matters, taxation, premarital agreements and business and professional valuations. In addition, he has lectured extensively on the subjects of mediation and arbitration and has been selected by the State Bar of Arizona to lecture on Professionalism and to judges at the Arizona Judicial Conference. He has also served on the Governor's Task Force on Marriage and Family and has served as a Judge Pro Tempore since approximately 1975.
