With 20 years’ experience in legal practice, Pedro Faria focuses on litigation and dispute resolution as well as sports law. He currently heads PLMJ’s commercial litigation team and his name has been linked to important cases as a litigator who specialises in commercial and civil matters. He handles cases involving the establishment of contractual and non-contractual liability resulting from the termination of many different types of commercial agreements (including sponsorship, agency, franchising and commercial concession agreements as well as construction contracts and contracts in the banking area made between private entities and the banks). He also has extensive experience in bringing actions to establish liability for unlawful acts committed by entities carrying on illicit online gaming activities in Portugal, as well as in cases to establish civil liability. Pedro is a member of the IBA – International Bar Association, Concórdia - Centre for Conciliation and Mediation of Disputes and a member of the management of the CAC – Círculo dos Advogados de Contencioso (circle of litigation lawyers).
