Experienced in build-to-suit, reverse build-to-suit, sale-leaseback and other sophisticated real estate transactions. Have also represented landlords and tenants in transactions involving general office, restaurant, general retail, medical office, and data center properties.
$180 Million Multi-State, Multi-Property Real Estate Disposition — Represented the seller as lead real estate counsel in the $180 million sale of approximately 200 convenience store properties located in several Midwest states.
$100+ Million Multi-State, Multi-Property Real Estate Acquisition — Responsible for the Midwest segment of a publicly traded U.S. company's $100+ million acquisition and development of approximately 200 properties.
+/- $75 Million Multi-Property Asset Purchase — Represented purchaser in the proposed acquisition of thirty-two operating convenience stores, together with multiple fuel supply contracts and related assets. Directed and completed drafting, preparation, and negotiation of the APA and ancillary documents, and directed and conducted all necessary title, survey, environmental, and corporate due diligence.
