Marc Vander Tuig is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. He focuses primarily on high-stakes patent litigation. Marc has helped his clients win complex patent cases at the trial and appellate levels. He has achieved success in district courts throughout the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also has litigated other types of intellectual property and commercial disputes in federal court, including trademark, trade dress, trade secrets, and antitrust cases.
Marc represents clients in a variety of other intellectual property matters, including patent counseling and opinions, due diligence, licensing, interferences, and reexaminations. Marc's work includes the preparation of legal opinions to support Paragraph IV certifications for Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) under the Hatch-Waxman Act. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, chemical, electronics, software, and e-commerce.
