For over forty-four years, Marc Steinberg has been practicing law, and for the past thirty-eight years as the Managing Partner of the Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, P.C. After graduation from the Pennsylvania State University in 1970, Mr. Steinberg received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1973. After a one year clerkship in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Mr. Steinberg served a two year term as an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He went into private practice in 1976, and handles criminal defense, civil litigation and dispute resolution cases. He regularly serves as a Neutral Arbitrator or Mediator in all types of cases. He has been certified six times since 1986 as a Criminal Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Steinberg is a Past-President of the Montgomery Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Foundation, the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Montgomery American Inn of Court. He has been a Discovery Master for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas since 1997. In 1999, he helped organize and start the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP), a non-profit organization providing free legal services to abused and neglected children in legal conflict situations, and has served as a Child Advocate and as the President of the Board of Directors since MCAP’s inception. He served two terms as a Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL). For 25 years, Mr. Steinberg was an Adjunct Instructor at the Beasley School of Law at Temple University teaching law students the art of trial advocacy. He has handled many criminal cases which have thrust him into the public spotlight. In 2004 through 2017, he was voted one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers. He has been named as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. In 2005, Mr. Steinberg was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association. From 2010 through 2017, he was also named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in two different publications. Mr. Steinberg has been a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Montgomery Bar Association. Marc Steinberg is the lawyer other lawyers call when they are in trouble.
