Maciej Łaszczuk is the founding partner of Łaszczuk & Partners.
After several years of judicial experience, he established Łaszczuk & Partners, and for 25 years he has been advising and representing domestic and international clients in arbitration and litigation.
Maciej is a listed arbitrator for several permanent arbitration courts, including the largest in Poland, the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, where he is the President of the Court’s Arbitral Council.
He has participated in approximately 200 arbitrations as either the chairman or an arbitrator under the rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, ICC, UNCITRAL, the Arbitration Court of the German-Polish Chamber of Commerce, and the Vienna Arbitration Rules. He has also represented clients in investment arbitration and high-profile commercial arbitrations, among others in the field of M&A, real estate, construction and civil contracts, as well as advising in high-profile post-arbitration proceedings.
Maciej is member of the Board of the Polish Arbitration Association and a member of the International Commercial Arbitration Committee of the International Law Association, the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and the Swiss Arbitration Association. He is a member of the Polish Bar Council. He is the author or co-author of a number of publications on arbitration, and a lecturer on civil procedure and arbitration for advocate trainees. He is also Vice Chairman of the Editorial Board of Palestra, the official publication of the Polish Bar Council.
Maciej Łaszczuk has been recommended by Legal 500 EMEA among the leading specialists in the field of dispute resolution in Poland year after year. He is also ranked by Chambers & Partners among the top lawyers in the field of dispute resolution in Poland and among the Most in Demand Arbitrators.
