Lucy Dollens concentrates her practice in commercial litigation. She handles all aspects of business litigation disputes, including advising clients on a broad range of contractual issues prior to the initiation of litigation. Her practice extends to federal and state trial and appellate courts, bankruptcy courts, proceedings involving governmental agencies and regulators, and class actions. Additionally, Lucy represents and advises clients on the enforcement of restrictive covenants in employment agreements and with respect to premises liability issues.
Lucy’s practice also focuses on advising and defending financial institutions, loan servicers, credit card issuers, and other consumer finance companies regarding lender liability and consumer protection/fraud issues. Lucy has worked closely with financial institutions, advising on internal processes and governance matters with respect to servicing and foreclosure issues.
Lucy's practice also focuses on appellate litigation, where she represents individuals and corporate clients in both state and federal appellate courts on an expansive range of legal issues including but not limited to commercial litigation, labor and employment disputes, products liability claims, premises liability matters, and administrative and licensing issues. Finally, she represents amicus curiae
parties regarding significant issues of Indiana law before Indiana’s Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
