LOREN L. PIERCE is a graduate of Lafayette College and Seton Hall University School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. She served as Law Clerk to Judge John A. McLaughlin, Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Pierce is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and to their federal district courts and to the bar of the District of Columbia. She is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and to the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to general commercial litigation, Ms. Pierce’s practice is focused on insurance coverage, bad-faith litigation and fraud litigation. She also has experience in product liability, professional liability, construction defect, and international matters. As lead attorney on multi-million dollar declaratory judgment actions, she has handled cases in federal and state courts. She has tried multiple cases to conclusion and argued cases in the appellate courts.
In 2005, Ms. Pierce was named a Leader Among Women and Minorities by the New Jersey Law Journal and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America every year since 2006. She has been repeatedly recognized in New Jersey's Super Lawyers. In addition, Martindale-Hubbell awarded her its AV Peer Review Rating, its highest level of professional excellence. Ms. Pierce served as a leader of her practice group, Litigation and Insurance Services for 10 years. She has lectured at numerous seminars on various insurance coverage topics. She has published articles on bad-faith litigation.
Ms. Pierce is a member of the American, New Jersey State and District of Columbia bar associations. She is a member and serves on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. She also served as member of the Executive Committee, Young Lawyers Division, New Jersey State Bar Association.
