Ms. Arenson has dedicated her career exclusively to family law, representing business owners, executives, professional athletes, entertainers and their spouses. Ms. Arenson concentrates in all areas of family law, including issues of child custody and visitation, child support, maintenance, property division, complex financial matters, tax consequences, pre and post nuptial agreements, restraining orders and orders of protection.
Ms. Arenson received her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. Ms. Arenson studied advanced international family law and international procedure, and has participated in high profile international child abduction cases. Ms. Arenson completed mediation skills training at Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies.
Ms. Arenson was selected as a Rising Star in 2014 by her peers in the legal community. Ms. Arenson has lectured on current issues in the field of family law. She is committed to giving back to the community. Ms. Arenson was previously a volunteer attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau helping to represent domestic violence victims. She is an annual participant in the Chicago’s Shamrock Shuffle, completed the Chicago Spring Half Marathon, and regularly participates in other athletic activities. She was approved for placement on the Cook County Domestic Relations Division’s list of mediators for financial custody related issues.
