Leonor’s practice focuses on corporate immigration matters in Latin America and she is currently Fragomen's Client Services Director for the region.
Since 2007, Leonor has provided counsel to a wide variety of corporations and has supervised the firm's service delivery in Latin America and the Caribbean to ensure that each client’s international personnel transfer program is successfully implemented and supported.
She actively participated in the opening of Fragomen offices in Costa Rica (2007), Mexico and Brazil (2013) and is currently in charge of the firm’s Latin America and Caribbean Coordination Center.
She has experience in international trade matters as a negotiator for labor issues and as a former member of Costa Rica’s international trade agreements negotiating team (2002-2005).
In 2010, she was included by the Costa Rican Government in the roster of panelists who are willing and able to serve as panelist in a dispute settlement procedure of the Free Trade Agreement between Central America, the Dominican Republic and the United States (US- CAFTA-DR).
