Over the course of his career, Mr. Foster has assisted clients in protecting their intellectual property rights and protecting a variety of technologies, including medical devices, agricultural technologies, automotive advances, athletic equipment and hunting and outdoor products, and many others. He has extensive experience as a trial attorney in patent infringement litigation, and he is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
His career has also included numerous cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart in 2001, Mr. Foster was a named partner with the Salt Lake City intellectual property law firm of Foster & Foster.
