KRISTIN GRAHAM KOEHLER, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, was commended in the 2015 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as a leader in White-Collar Crime and Government Investigations Litigation as “very practical, collaborative and strategic.”
Kristin has handled numerous United States Department of Justice (DOJ) criminal and civil investigations involving healthcare fraud, antitrust, securities fraud, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). She has significant experience representing clients in qui tammatters, State AG investigations, and congressional investigations, and has negotiated numerous Corporate Integrity Agreements with the HHS Office of Inspector General. Kristin also has participated in jury trials in a number of federal district courts and appeals in a number of appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
In addition to her recognition in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2013, 2014, 2015), Kristin is recognized in the 2016 edition of The Best Lawyers in America as a leading litigator in white-collar criminal defense, and has been recognized every year since 2013. She has also been named a “Local Litigation Star” in Washington, D.C. by Benchmark Litigation (2015). Kristin also has been acknowledged by The Legal 500 (2013) for her white collar criminal defense work and was named by Washington DC Super Lawyers as one of the capital region’s “Top 50 Women” lawyers (2014 & 2015). In 2015, she also was recognized as a “Rising Star” in the white collar category by Euromoney LMG. Kristin has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Prior to joining Sidley, Kristin served as a law clerk to the Honorable David G. Larimer, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
