Kim Jakeman is a partner and the Assistant Chair of the Harper Grey LLP Health Law practice group.
Kim has extensive court and administrative tribunal experience. Over the years she has represented clients who are faced with complex professional negligence litigation, insurance litigation, professional regulatory issues and personal injuries.
In addition to her litigation practice, Kim has an interest in the law on conflicts related to lawyers and law firms having authored papers on the topic in various journals and in-house bulletins. Most recently she has completed her level one Mediation course with the Centre for Conflicts Resolution at the Justice Institute.
Born and raised in Alberta, Kim now lives in the Lower Mainland with her family. She is an accomplished athlete. She enjoys road biking, having participated in numerous fondos. She has completed two marathons and has dabbled a bit in the world of triathlons. Her athletic pursuits have allowed her to bring a strong sense of discipline and focus to her practice of law.
