Kevin Dalton is a partner in the Charlotte office. His practice emphasizes counseling clients regarding employment issues and defending clients against claims alleging wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations.
Kevin has assisted employers in remaining non-union, including responding to unfair labor practice charges and advising employers during union representation campaigns.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin served as a Captain in the Army's JAG Corps at Fort Hood, Texas, where he prosecuted soldiers for violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and defended the Army against claims alleging discrimination and other unlawful employment practices.
Kevin also advised supervisors and commanders regarding employment matters for the post's 4,500 member civilian workforce. He was a 1993 Distinguished Military Graduate of Wake Forest University's R.O.T.C. program.
While in law school, Kevin was a member of the University of Baltimore Law Review, and an editor of the Journal of Environmental Law. Also while in law school, he served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable J. Norris Byrnes and the Honorable Barbara Kerr Howe of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
