With over 14 years’ experience, Katherine is passionate about work health and safety law and has successfully defended clients in high profile health and safety prosecutions across Australia.
In her area of expertise, Katherine is listed as a leading lawyer in the 2014 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
Through strategic advice and developing extensive compliance systems, she manages serious incidents and reduces exposure to corporate and senior management personal liability arising from a wide range of health and safety related law.
Katherine has experience across a wide range of high safety risk industries including construction, property, transport (particularly road and rail), and energy and resources.
Renowned for her technical skills, her client focussed approach has meant that Katherine has developed long term and in depth relationships with her clients.
Katherine has spoken on several occasions at the annual Safety Conference (the SIA’s main industry conference) in New South Wales and Queensland, and the AUSRail conference, as well as various legal conferences.
For many years, Katherine has taught the OHS and EEO module as part of the Chartered Secretaries’ Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.
