José Gregorio became equity partner in 2012 and is the head of the Public Law practice area and of the National and International Commercial Arbitration Section of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution area. He joined the Firm in 2004 as an Intellectual Property associate and then he became a member of the Public Law practice area as junior partner in 2007. Jose Gregorio advises national and foreign corporations in public procurement matters, foreign investment protection, antitrust, consumer protection, general public law, litigation and national and international arbitration.
Jose Gregorio has participated in over 30 national and international conferences on public procurement, arbitration, foreign investments and competition.
Torrealba has authored over 60 articles addressing public law, State liability, foreign investments, economic regulations, competition, intellectual property, arbitration and public procurement, all published in specialized magazines edited in Venezuela, Spain, United Kingdom and Ukraine. He is the author of the book “Promotion and Protection of Investments in Venezuela.” He has also taught courses in several renowned Venezuelan universities.
