John Anderson is a trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience who handles complex multiparty cases in the areas of insurance coverage, products liability, construction and employment. He serves as counsel for national and international insurance companies in environmental and toxic tort claims, and he represented the prevailing party in the first reported decision in Minnesota interpreting the pollution exclusion in an environmental contamination context.
John is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of environmental law and insurance law and has been selected to the Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers list by Minnesota Law & Politics/Super Lawyers. John has also been listed in the top 6% of Minnesota attorneys in the areas of civil litigation and environmental law by Law and Leading Attorneys since 1994. He was a member of the Bassford Remele Management Committee and served as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer.
John is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as an Adjunct Professor in the area of commercial liability insurance.
