John Henry Rule has over 30 years of legal experience. His areas of practice are primarily complex commercial litigation with an emphasis in banking litigation and business torts; he has had substantial experience in communications law.

Since John's admission into the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1977, he has served as a lecturer on communications law, FDIC issues, and procedural issues. John was a charter barrister in the Robert D. Hudson American Inn of Court, was a master in the Council Oak Inn of Court and in 1991, served as a member of the Temporary Oklahoma Court of Appeals. John has been active in the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations, serving for several years as a member of the OBA Law Schools Committee and the TCBA Professional Responsibility (Grievance) Committee (Chairman in 1994/1995). John was also a member of the OBA Journal Board of Editors.

John is a Priest Associate at St. John's Episcopal Church and spends substantial time in church-related activities. John serves on the board of the Tristesse Grief Center.
