Jeffrey Krausman is a shareholder at Dickinson, Mackaman, Tyler & Hagen, P.C. Mr. Krausman represents both public and private sector clients regarding a wide variety of employment-related issues and litigation matters.
Mr. Krausman began his law career at the Iowa Public Relations Board (PERB) which administers the Iowa law governing employment relations and collective bargaining in the public sector.
In 1977 Mr. Krausman entered private practice, initially focusing on labor and employment issues, primarily in the public school context. He regularly assists public and private schools with student discipline issues, policy reviews, and purchasing and commercial agreements. He frequently advises clients on the special issues of public sector construction related contracts, and has represented them in construction related mediation and litigation.
Mr. Krausman has extensive experience as a negotiator at the bargaining table, having negotiated more than a hundred collective bargaining agreements. He represents clients as an advocate in grievance disputes, and litigates employment-related matters in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Krausman is a frequent speaker at Iowa Bar Association and Iowa School Board Association programs.
