Jaime Sol joined KPMG as the partner in charge of the Compensation and Pensions practice at KPMG’s People Services Department, as well as providing support for the International Mobility Management area. Jaime Sol also forms part of the International Compensation and Pension Committee.
Prior to joining KPMG, Jaime Sol was a partner at Garrigues (where he developed his whole professional career) and was responsible for the Compensation and Benefits Area within the Human Capital Services Department.
His specialisations include the design and implementation of incentive systems for directors and employees, social welfare schemes, international mobility, advice to appointment and remuneration committees of listed and unlisted companies, both in Spain and abroad.
He is an expert in remuneration systems of financial institutions and investment services companies, as well as in all regulatory aspects of remuneration relating to these kinds of entity. He is the leading professional in this subject matter for the main financial institutions in Spain. Jaime Sol has also actively participated in analysing and designing social welfare products for the main insurance companies in Spain.
He has taught on the Taxation Masters Degree and Executive Human Resources Programme at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
Jaime Sol is a member of the Spanish Directors Association (AED). He also belongs to the Spanish Chapter of the Global Equity Organization, which aims to further and develop knowledge of share-based incentives in the international arena.
He has taught on the Taxation Masters Degree and Executive Human Resources Programme at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. Moreover, he is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences at specialist centres.
