Garry Fitzgerald appears in the trial and appellate divisions of the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria, as well as other courts and tribunals (including the Patents and Trade Marks Office).
He practises mainly in intellectual property, trade practices, contractual and commercial disputes.
He is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ) and the Commercial Bar Association of the Victorian Bar.
Before coming to the Bar in 1995, he was an associate to Justice Gummow in the Federal Court and worked as a solicitor in commercial litigation at the firm of Blake Dawson.
