Frank Smith is a partner and senior trial lawyer in the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He concentrates his practice in the litigation of intellectual property matters including patent and copyright cases as well as other complex matters, including antitrust and white collar crime. He is a former member of the firm’s Partners’ Committee.

He is also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and as one of Georgia’s “Super Lawyers” in intellectual property. Mr. Smith received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Davidson College in 1974 where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from Stanford University in 1977 where he was Order of the Coif.
