Erik Peters is involved in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, representing employers and employees in discrimination and whistleblower suits in state and federal courts, labor arbitrations, and before administrative agencies.
Erik has managed litigation teams in significant, multi-party, cases involving construction defects, defamation, civil rights, and complex torts. In addition, Erik serves as counsel for several corporations, guiding them through commercial disputes that have become a fact of business life. As a prosecutor with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Erik honed his skills as a protector of his clients' interests. He approaches private clients' interests with the same tenacity.
Erik and his wife, Betsy, live in Freeport, Maine. Erik and Betsy have two young sons, Max and Teddy, who keep them on the run. In his free time, Erik enjoys telemark skiing, running and sailing.
