Elizabeth Chatham is a highly experienced immigration attorney. Recently awarded Best Lawyers in America 2013, Ms. Chatham established her own practice after working several years with two of the country’s largest immigration law firms. Her practice focuses primarily on employment-based immigration, specifically nonimmigrant visas for professionals (including H-1B, L1, O, P, TN, E, and R visas), labor certifications and I-140 petitions (EB-1 Outstanding Researcher, Extraordinary Ability, Multi-National Manager, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, and EB3). Ms. Chatham is also experienced in family-based immigration, naturalization, adjustment of status, nonimmigrant petitions and consular processing.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Chatham has represented Fortune 100 and 500 high technology companies, numerous small businesses, a variety of non-profits and many individuals on complex immigration matters.
Ms. Chatham has worked for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland where she assisted with the analysis of fair international labor laws and standards.
While a former Staff Attorney with an immigrant rights organization in Los Angeles, Ms. Chatham provided immigration services, spearheaded a domestic violence project for battered immigrants, and ran a successful naturalization campaign for several ethnic immigrant communities.
Born in India, Ms. Chatham became a naturalized U.S. Citizen which gave her a personal perspective and understanding of the immigration process.
