Ed’s practice focuses on representing companies in employment and commercial litigation. He also chairs the Litigation Practice Group at Warner Norcross, which has been named one of the nation’s Most Feared Litigation Firms for 2015. Ed has successfully represented manufacturers, utility companies, universities and banks in all manner of employment disputes, including race, sex, age, FMLA and disability discrimination claims, as well as harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims. He has also successfully represented businesses in enforcing non-competition agreements and protecting their trade secrets. Ed was lead counsel for Amway Corp. when the company won a $26 million arbitration award in a lawsuit involving non-compete, non-solicit and trade secret claims, and he was co-counsel in the Taco Bell Chihuahua case, which resulted in a jury awarding our client $36 million.
