Drawing from more than a decade of experience as a Senior Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, Mr. Gorin now specializes in the defense of complex criminal matters in state and federal courts nationwide. Having litigated approximately 100 jury trials, he has successfully defended attorneys, medical professionals, business owners and corporations on felony and misdemeanor crimes nationally. Mr. Gorin specializes in all criminal defense matters including allegations of sex crimes, federal violations, drug crimes, violence, white-collar crime, juvenile court, drug crimes, and DUI.

He is also active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the California Association of Criminal Justice, and is the founder of the Eastern-European Bar Association. He regularly instructs other attorneys on criminal defense litigation and has presented MCLE lectures at the California State Bar, Santa Monica Bar, and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations.

People v. ZB — Homicide trial, receiving medial attention. Client acquitted Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity. One of few such verdicts in Los Angeles in the last 10 years.
People v. MM — 30 million dollar real estate loan fraud dismissed first in the trial court, and after it was refiled in the preliminary hearing court. Case received national media attention due to collapse in banking industry.
People v. OK — Marijuana case with over 100 pounds seizure. Dismissed due to violation of constitutional rights by law enforcement.
People v. AK — Two people stabbed in the back during a fight at a party in wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood. Accused facing state prison and possible attempted murder charges. After defense investigation and litigation, client receives probation and has case reduced to misdemeanor with community service.
People v. AV — Driver and passenger in a car attack a line of bicyclists, causing many to fall and be injured. Client facing prison time due to number of injuries and number of people hurt. After defense presentation to the government, client settles case for probation and community service. Case received media attention.
