David A. Jones practices in the area of complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice includes commercial mortgage foreclosures and workouts, defense of lender liability actions, commercial and asset-based loan defaults and workouts, and bond and other public financing default litigation and workouts.
Mr. Jones also regularly represents individuals and businesses in breach of contract actions, large collection cases and enforcement/opposition to non-compete agreements. He has substantial experience in business tort litigation, defense of class actions, trade secret and fraud cases, Uniform Commercial Code matters and real estate/boundary disputes. Mr. Jones also represents governmental entities in civil rights and constitutional law cases, and statutory challenges to the validity of zoning ordinances.
