CHRISTOPHER P. LENZO is a member of Lenzo & Reis, LLC in Morristown, New Jersey. He represents individual employees in employment law matters.
Since 2006, Mr. Lenzo has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the fields of Labor and Employment Litigation and Employment Law – Individuals. Since 2005, he has been chosen as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in Labor and Employment Law and Plaintiffs’ Employment Litigation. For 2013 and 2016, Best Lawyers in America also designated Mr. Lenzo as the Lawyer of the Year in the field of Employment Law – Individuals for the Newark Metropolitan Area. In 2014 and 2015, he was among the Top 100 New Jersey Super Lawyers receiving the most votes from other members of the bar. All of these honors are based on votes cast by other employment lawyers in New Jersey.
Mr. Lenzo has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. He served the New Jersey Supreme Court as a member of the Employment Law Subcommittee of the Court’s Model Civil Jury Charge Committee for twelve years. Mr. Lenzo also functions as a mediator for the American Arbitration Association. In addition, he acts as a Master for the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court.
Mr. Lenzo has served as Plaintiffs’ Co-Chair of the Disabilities and Leaves of Absence and Statutory Rights Subcommittees of the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. He currently serves as a Member of the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and as Coordinator for the Executive Committee’s Model Jury Charges Subcommittee. Mr. Lenzo has also served as Secretary, Executive Board Member, Legislative Committee Chair, and Amicus Committee Chair for the New Jersey Affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Mr. Lenzo has written about employment law subjects for LexisNexis, the New Jersey Law Journal, New Jersey Lawyer – The Magazine, the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Labor and Employment Law Quarterly, the Essex County Bar Association, and the Practising Law Institute. He has spoken on employment law topics for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America – New Jersey, the National Employment Lawyers Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the American Bar Association, among other bar associations and human resources organizations.
Mr. Lenzo is admitted to practice law in the state courts of New Jersey and New York, the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
From 1993 to 1994, Mr. Lenzo served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel J. O’Hern, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Lenzo graduated from Harvard Law School in 1993. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 1990.
