Catherine E. Hult has been a member of the firm since 1999 and is licensed to practice in Iowa and Illinois. Cathy practices in Banking Law; Commercial Law; Corporate and Business Law; Exempt Organizations; Mergers and Acquisitions; Ag Law; State and Federal Tax Credit Financing; and Real Estate Law, including zoning, use, horizontal property conversion, quiet title and related land use litigation.
Cathy has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Real Estate Law) and Chamber and Partners (Real Estate Law) and is a former Director with the Iowa Finance Authority, Title Guaranty Division. She is currently serving on the Iowa State Bar Association Real Estate Section Council and on the Legal Forms Committee. She is also a member of the American Bar Association Legal Opinions Committee.
Cathy is a Director with The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley. She is also active with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois as a Junior troop leader.
Cathy received her B.S., summa cum laude, with a 4.0 out of 4.0 average in 1996 from the University of South Dakota. She attended Creighton School of Law, earning her J.D., summa cum laude, in 1999, graduating first in her class and earning the Highest Triennial Average Award. She was a member of Alpha Lamda Delta, Guidon, Mortar Board, Golden Key and Phi Delta Phi honor societies. Cathy lives in Bettendorf with her husband and three children.
