Brad Trammell, shareholder in the Memphis office of Baker Donelson, concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Trammell has particular experience in the areas of financial services, insurance coverage, equipment leasing, contracts and class actions, as well as intellectual property.
Not only has he tried many cases in state courts through his years of practice, but he has significant experience trying large stakes cases in federal court. For example, in October 2007, Mr. Trammell tried a one-month federal court intellectual property case involving technology in the aerospace industry in which his client received a significant verdict. Preceding that trial, Mr. Trammell tried a three-month federal court case involving a complex multi-million dollar commercial dispute which centered around ownership of and damages related to spinal technology. In addition to his extensive trial court experience, Mr. Trammell has arbitrated a number of cases and has argued numerous cases before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, including argument before the Tennessee Supreme Court.
After graduating from The University of The South at Sewanee, Mr. Trammell worked for a Fortune 100 financial services company. Thereafter, he attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he was a member of the University of Alabama Law Review and competed on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.
