Brad Bleakney practices almost exclusively in Illinois Workers Compensation and work related injury
litigation since 1984. Representative clients include both self-insured employers and injured Illinois workers in most all
types of occupations and most all types of work injury claims. Mr. Bleakney is very active in Illinois
workers compensation trials, settlements, appeals, workers compensation lien subrogation and lien negotiation.
admitted to practice before the Illinois State Bar (1984), the U.S. District
Court for the Northern District of Illinois (1985), the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Seventh Circuit (1985), and the Federal Trial Bar (1990).
Brad is also a
member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the
Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association, member of the CBA Committee
on Workers' Compensation, the ISBA Workers Compensation Section Council (2006-2014);
Brad is a member of the LexisNexis Larson’s Workers Compensation Advisory Board (2008 –2016) and presently serves on the Larson’s
Workers Compensation Executive Committee.
Brad was recently selected by his peers for
inclusion in Best Lawyers in America® 2013-2016 in the
field of Illinois Workers Compensation.
