The focus of Axel Braun's work is on cross-border projects, labour restructurings, collective bargaining with trade unions and/or works councils and workers´ co-determination matters.
He is Head of the German employment law division and co-head of Luther´s
international network. He is a member of Luther's Management Team and
head of the service line employment.
Axel Braun working for several
years, Axel Braun studied law in Cologne and Geneva. Upon completing
his legal training to become a lawyer, which he carried out in Aachen,
Cologne, Mumbai and Santander, he worked from 1990 for Fiedler &
Forster in Frankfurt before joining Luther in 1995.
From the onset, he has been head of the German
employment law division. In the German-French working group of Luther
he is also head of the employment law team. Axel Braun has been
teaching at the University of Cologne since 2005 and represents
shareholder interests on the supervisory board of a group of companies
Labour law in Europe, Handbook Collective Agreements, Correspondent of “Labour law advisor” and EELC.
