During his four decades with Stuart & Branigin Tony has been witness to and participated in extensive changes to his firm, his community and his practice areas. Tony was recently elected by his partners to serve as the firm's first Managing Partner. He also currently serves as Secretary and General Counsel for Greater Lafayette Commerce, an umbrella agency promoting regional economic development with its goal to make West Central Indiana the "Place of Choice" for businesses, industry and professional services.
Tony is no stranger to leadership roles in his practice as well, having led the firm's practice group providing legal services to Purdue University where he served as an officer of the Purdue Board of Trustees for over twenty years and its legal counsel for over a decade. This assignment followed a stint of fifteen plus years serving a Class I railroad client as system coordinating and supervising attorney in the defense of toxic tort litigation related to worker asbestos exposure.
Tony's clients appreciate his hard work and practical, common-sense approach to resolving issues and problems. Tony says, "Growing up in a farm community and later as a trade union apprentice, I learned to have pride in my work and to execute each task to the best of my ability."
Tony's goal as a seasoned attorney is to continue to add insight, value and occasional humor to the process of interacting with and representing clients, and always be driven to meet client needs.
