Tony practises exclusively in the pension and employee benefits law area where he provides advice to the sponsor employers of, and administrators of, private sector plans, and to administrators of public sector pension plans. He has extensive experience with pension and benefit issues arising in insolvencies and restructuring and corporate transactions generally, such as acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and corporate reorganizations. He advises on legal and regulatory issues affecting all aspects of provincially and federally regulated pension plans and other employee benefit plans. Tony deals extensively with pension governance, plan mergers, full and partial plan wind-ups, plan conversions, pension surplus withdrawals, employee communications, post-retirement benefits and general advice on pension and benefit plan administration issues and pension plan compliance issues.
