Brandi-Dohrn began his career at the intellectual property law firm
Preu, Bohlig & Partner.
He focuses on advising and representing, in
and out of court, businesses from the IT, Life Science and High Tech sectors in intellectual property matters, notably
in patent and trademark licensing, in public procurement disputes, and
in unfair competition. He has acquired a strong reputation for his
expertise in IT-law and has published extensively in the area of
intellectual property law, IT-law and international commercial law.
Since 2006, he is appointed by the bar as
"Specialized Intellectual Property Lawyer" and is a member of the
expert committee on intellectual property law of the Berlin bar. He is one of a handful of German lawyers holding the title of Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) for his exceptional theoretical knowledge and practical experience in international licensing.
Brandi-Dohrn is adjunct professor for IT law at the
prestigious Hasso-Plattner-Institute (University of Potsdam) and was President of the German think tank on ICT law, Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Recht und Informatik, DGRI e.V. (www.dgri.de) from 2009 - 2014.
