Anna Lasocka heads Laszczuk & Partners' Intellectual Property and New Technologies Practice Group. She specialises in intellectual property law and unfair competition law, and also has extensive experience in pharmaceutical law, commercial law, civil law and labour law.
Her practice includes such areas as issues of trademark, brand names, product packaging and labelling, advising on unfair competition (including product imitation), advertising and promotional activities, and Internet sales. She advises on advertising law, especially with respect to advertising of medical products. She represents clients in negotiations concerning Internet domains and in disputes concerning domain piracy as well as in negotiations and drafting of contracts concerning transfer and licensing of IP rights representation of clients in court and arbitration proceedings. She has also representated pharmaceutical companies in proceedings before the Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, and in court disputes.
Anna Lasocka trains legal advisor trainees of the Warsaw Legal Advisers' Chamber in intellectual property. She has also on has on several occasions lectured at seminars on Polish labour law organized by the Institute for International Research in Vienna and at seminars on Polish corporate law organized in Germany by the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce. She has also lectured on pharmacoeconomics, marketing and pharmaceutical law at the Warsaw University of Technology.
