Andrew (Andy) Young is a partner at the Cleveland, OH firm Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy Co., L.P.A. Andy’s trial experience has been recognized by his peers through an invitation and election into membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. Young has earned an AV Preeminent rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He holds what is believed to be the record for Ohio’s highest compensatory verdict for a truck injury case at $34.6 Million Dollars.
Andy has an active Class A Commercial Driver’s License and owns a Peterbilt 359 Semi-tractor. He is the Immediate Past Chair of the Ohio Association for Justice’s Trucking Safety Section. He presently serves on the Executive Committee of the American Association for Justice’s Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. Within that group, he serves as the Chair of the Underride Truck Crash Committee, Chair of the Publications Committee and is the Editor of the Journal of Trucking Litigation.
Andy has been selected for inclusion in the 2005 through 2007 and 2009 through 2016 Ohio Super Lawyers® by Law & Politics Media. He was also included in the 2016 Best Lawyers® list.
