A Family Dedicated to
With more than 65 years of
combined personal injury litigation experience, Easton & Easton’s attorneys
have helped thousands of injured people maximize their meritorious claims. Doug
Easton and his sons, Brian and Matt, only represent those that have been
seriously injured or suffered the wrongful death of a loved one. Helping those
who have suffered such tragedies through the negligence of another is a
life-long, personal, and familial passion for the Eastons, and each case is
dear to their hearts.
A Tradition of Exceptional
In a recent and
particularly heart-wrenching case, the firm acquired $2.75 million for the
wrongful death of a 55-year-old man with no wife or children, just two
surviving parents in their ‘80s. While the defendants’ insurance carrier
initially expected to pay a minimal amount because of the advanced age of the
decedent and his parents, Easton & Easton found in this family’s history a
poignant story of love and devotion between the parents and their son that they
used to compel the insurance company to seek an early Mediation and ultimately
pay $2.75 million to resolve the case.
The settlement amount far exceeded the clients’ wildest dreams and
spared them the stress of a lengthy trial.
These exceptional results have since been recognized by the legal
community at large — Doug, Brian, and Matt Easton each received Commendations
from the City of Lancaster for their work in this case and the result was
chosen as Number 18 in California’s Top
Million Dollar Settlements for 2013.
A Pillar Among the
Due to the respect they have earned among their peers in the legal
community while standing up for the rights of victims like these 80-year-old
parents, Easton & Easton is listed by U.S. News & World Report as one
of Southern California’s Best Law Firms.
With more than 43 years of experience, Doug Easton has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer
continually since 2009 and a Best Lawyer
in America since 2007, and has held Martindale-Hubble’s highest A-V rating
for legal skill and ethical conduct for 30 years. Alongside their father, Brian
and Matt continue building upon that tradition of exceptional advocacy and
success for their clients. Matt Easton was selected in 2014 to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in California.
