Firm Profile

Our firm began in Charleston, West Virginia in 1920 with three lawyers engaged in general practice. It has grown, through expansions and mergers, into a regional full-service law firm with nearly 130 attorneys and a staff of over 150 professionals, serving clients in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio and throughout the world.  In 2012, we will open new offices in Moundsville, West Virginia, and Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, to serve our clients in the oil and gas industry who are working in the Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale regions.

As our firm has expanded, we have continued to adhere to the values of our firm mission:
